Unfortunately, what the man found was shocking. Two staff members, identified as Diana Rochelle Garrett and Stephanie Ann Lowden, were in fact abusing his mother. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, after initially investigating the woman’s abuse at the hospital, were also shown the videos the son had taken.

The videos apparently show Garrett and Lowden physically and psychologically abusing the elder woman.

Nursing home abuse, mistreatment and neglect are more common than we’d like to believe and our lawyers have heard some awful stories and first hand accounts of the abuse that takes place in Florida nursing homes.

Our goals is to help victims and their families hold individuals and nursing home companies responsible for their actions. If you or someone you know has been a victim of abuse, we’d like to hear your story.
