Jon M. Herskowitz has been a named partner at Baron & Herskowitz since 2008 and is presently the managing partner of Baron, Herskowitz, and Cohen. Before that time, Jon was a partner in The Herskowitz Law Firm from 1994 to 2008, practicing with his father, Jack L. Herskowitz. Before Jon entered civil practice, he was an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney’s Office, primarily working in the Major Narcotics Unit.
Jon graduated from the University of Georgia in 1986 and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1989 from Emory University School of Law. Jon has been recognized as a Master for Trial Advocacy with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy since 1995 and received a Master’s Certificate in Advanced Advocacy Skills from Harvard Law School. He also compiled, wrote, and published a thirty-two-page “Trial Notebook” for trial for the Offices of the State Attorney distributed throughout Florida. He has tried more than 150 jury trials.
