- Medical Negligence case in Miami-Dade County was brought against the surgeon as a result of the tip of a scalpel breaking off during shoulder surgery and never removed. The patient developed terrible pain and limited motion, requiring multiple surgeries to remove the metal piece and the damaged tissue. The case settled for over $1,000,000.
