The four rings on the Audi logo represent the four German car manufacturers who formed the Auto Union in 1932 and if you personally own or operate a Q5 or Q5 Sportback Quattro made in or after 2021, you might want to check the Audi Recall Services here to see if your vehicle is still firing on all four cylinders.
Audi recently issued a recall for certain 2021 Models that are at risk for software issues and other 2022-2024 Q5 and SQ5 vehicles that might have some defects. The defects can either cause the engine to shut off while driving or affect key safety systems, including airbags and antilock brakes.
In its letter to vehicle owners, Audi describes a failure in the gateway control module that may result in a complete engine shutdown during operation.
Owners are told to NOT bring their vehicles to the dealership because Audi states that there is NO repair available.
Audi is aware of a serious defect, and these affected vehicles remain on the roads.
If you drive one of the recalled models and have experienced any issues such as engine stalling, electrical shutdowns, or the failure of safety systems or any other issue, you may have grounds to pursue a legal claim.
