Owners of 2015-2019 Ford F-150s across the nation have been vocal for years about the increasing number of vehicles with dashboard warping and splitting. In many cases, this dashboard defect became evident within a month of purchasing the vehicles. Warping has numerous possible causes, including insufficient thickness of the plastic parts, inferior quality of the plastic used in the dashboard, and poor design where the dashboard does not utilize enough anchor points.
Despite the many complaints, Ford has spent years refusing to take personal responsibility and address the warping dashboards. As a result, Ford owners have taken to numerous forums discussing their concerns and frustrations on the matter.
Now, in response, Ford issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) to allegedly address the problem. According to the bulletin, Ford is allegedly providing replacement parts for warped dashboards in 2015-2019 Ford F-150 XL or XLT models that are still under warranty.
